AGE OF THE INSTITUTE AND ITS ACHIEVEMENTS  
  1. Initiation of the School in the rented building in the year August 1983 under direct management of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi till Primary Section.
     
  2. Up gradation of the classes every year resulting in passing out of batches.
     
  3. The school was affiliated with CBSE in the year 1994.The first CBSE affiliated school in the valley.
     
  4.  Up gradation of School up to Senior Secondary Level with CBSE in Science & Commerce stream in April, 2005 & Started Class XI in the academic session 2005-06.
     
  5. Empowered teaching as well as learning despite of space constraint.
     
  6. The school has Four building blocks Three blocks are rented & one owned.
     
  7.  Construction of own building took place in the year 1992.
     
  8.  Construction of New Building on Govt. Leased land with 27 classrooms, Labs & With toilet block in the year 2005.
     
  9.  Building having 27 Class Rooms with a total strength of 852 students.
     
  10. A new room on the other end of the ground was donated to School by the Chairman Er. Vinod Devi Chand.
     
  11.  Excellent Board results producing number of Doctors, Politicians, Technocrats and Bureaucrats.
     
  12.  Basket Ball court was constructed in the year 2010.
     
  13. Renovation of the rented building in the year 2015.
     
  14. Fencing over the boundary wall and ground was cemented completely in the year 2015.
     
  15. Construction of activity room in the year 2016.
     
  16. The School is having Eco Club (DAYANAND ECO CLUB) working for the betterment of the surrounding environment.
     
  17. The school has purchased its own land of 3 Bighas.
     
  18. Recognition at National Level for Sports and Co-curricular Activities at District, State Level.
     
  19.  Carved a niche in Social Projects as well as Social Activities.
